There are many titles on their way to the GameCube featuring many of the top stars from the worlds of Nintendo, but which do you think is the most important?

Is it Mario, including Luigi, Yoshi, Peach, Toad and Bowser. I'd like to include Wario and Waluigi separately, hoping that they'll get a game!

Donkey Kong (+ other Kongs)

Zelda

Metroid

Star Fox

Kirby

Pokemon

Which games are you most looking forward too from these characters?

I agree with Dringo about expanding on f-zero characters. Anyone who's played Super Smash Bros. on N64 will know that Captain Falcon is one of the best characters ever, and should have his own game. Maybe a bounty-hunter game...

I can't wait for F-Zero on gamecube either...

Super Mario 128 (in my mind) would have a massive adventure to explore and proceed through, but should also feature a multiplayer mode where you can fight one another in maps, using assorted but toned-down weaponry...

Toad, Princess Toadstool, Bowser, Wario, Waluigi, Mario, Luigi...Not so sure if Yoshi would work, as he's, well, without hands. Maybe power-ups could be diverse depending upon the character that gets them. That might make the gameplay more complex.

Either way, I'm nearing the opinion that there should be a multiplayer mode available for every game made. Replayability is increased tenfold with it there.

Ah forgot to mention Pokemon.
I dont like them but if they bring more money to Nintendo and more customers to the cube then we get more games, with higher quality.
Pokemon has been such a masive sucess with Kids every where that its bound to shift a few thousand more consols.
Because of this i think that For the purpose of making money Pokemon is the Key to sucess, A 3d Pokemon RPG perhaps, from release date and bundled with a pokemon cube will sell loads, all Nintendo have to do is keep the craze burning untill relese date, hopefully The new GB games will help that (what are they now, "okemon Cyan and Magenta", who knows!). The GBA is bound to be a massive sucess, with this and the backing of Sega Nintendo look to be set up, let the god times role!

Strange.I started this post hating Pokemon, now I'm greatfull they exist.

Yeah Wario is great, not to sure about waluigi.
I'm not to sure if Metroid will work as a first person shooter, it should stay as a 3rd person game, thats how it was intended to be, however we will have to see.
Having all of the mario characters in one game would be great, perhaps it would get too much like DK64 though.
wario deserves a part in a adventure game not just somebody to fill the gaps in various spin off games.
Zelda will be without a doubt great, i would love Nintendo to introduce online adventure like "Phantasy star online".
imagine four or five of you working as a team, obviously there would be a character config at the start and there would be others to play as apart from link.
I've never liked Kirby, either they drasticly re-think him or throw him to a third party developer, spend time on better things.
All of the other Nintendo games like "starfox", "1080" and "Wave race" will be good fillers between the adventures.
Rare look set to deliver the good with Perfect Dark 2 (possibly called after dark) and Dinosaur planet which has been pushed back to release for the cube.
All of Nintendo's characters are important, each one delivers to a different audience.
Which is the most important?
Mario obviously is the mascot, his game is the one everybody wants to see.
Link generaly brings high quality games with action so the quality of that game could be very important.
Samus (metroid) is very eagerly anticipated by the American audience, the rest of the world doesn't seem to bothered.
Perfect Dark is very important, for those who like an FPS that is sure to be good. It will be one of the main reasons I buy a cube.
Nintendo have so many good qualty characters, so they can make so many great games.

Nintendo need violent characters to help not make them seem so cute. I adore Daonkey, Banjo, Zelda, Pokemon, kiby but now with Joanna and Samus on the Gamecube they are heading in the right direction also Nintendo should make the characters from F zero more popular but heres to Fox Mucloud

The most important thing for nintendo to do is to make sure all their characters have good recent games out starring them otherwise their popularity could crumble, eg kirby, and perhaps to some extent metroid, but then again with new games out soon all nintendos characters can be linked to a recent game, hopefully the hype behind metroid will prove to be worth while.
