As has been reported recently around the internet the contracts of Rob Van Dam and Kevin Nash expire at the end of the year. Negotiations have already opened with Van Dam but are said to be going nowhere as Van Dam won't accept more money to stay on and be treated as he has the last 12 months.

Negotiations haven't even begun with Nash as the WWE don't want to pay him anything like the money he is currently on, so it looks as though Big Useless is finally going to leave for good.

There is of course a strong possibility that both men could begin the new year as NWATNA stars, strngthening their claim to be genuine contenders to the WWE throne. Anyone else getting excited at the prospect of a rejuvinated Van Dam squaring off with AJ Styles?

As much as i don't want RVD to leave because i want to see him on TV every week i also think he should leave and go somewhere where he'd be appreciated and his talent recognised instead of being held down while great big talentless goofs headline shows week after week just because they happen to be over 280 pounds and 6'3, which Vince loves oh so much.

And a RVD v Jericho world championship match would be far more entertaining then what we had with Goldberg and HHH

It'll be a shame to see Van Dam leave WWE...

Why not? WWE are wasting him, with that intercontinental title rubbish, same goes for Jericho. Give me Jericho vs RVD for the World title any day.

You're right...I need to check my information more thoroughly next time. He still wants to leave when it does expire though.

I heard Van Dam's contract expires in the summer next year. Either way, the WWE will have to push him to the title if they want to keep him. Nash will probably end up staying. *shudders*

Hopefully, a channel will pick up NWA TNA events because they should be serious challengers soon.
