It all started with pokemon, the little critters devoured hours of time as millions of kids played in cars, trains etc. Then out came Pokemon stadium and wow, you could use your Gameboy games on the N64. Then Mario Tennis, and then WWF No Mercy. I love this idea, I can make a wrestler on my
Gameboy and train him up and make him learn some of the most powerful moves in the game as I travel to work, then when I get home I upload him to the N64 and watch as my machine devours the other wrestlers. The point is though that I love the idea that I can still be contributing towards some of my favourite games whilst travelling and in cars etc. Even when I am out I am getting better at an N64 game, hopefully Gamecube and GB Advance will speed this sort of gaming up which will be absolutely fantastic. I wait with anticipation at the thought of building up some characters for a Final Fantasy Gamecube game whilst on the train. It will at least make the journey a bit more interesting.

It sounds like Nintendo are doing some really good stuff withe the GBA GC link up...

I dont mean to sound rude to Sony fans... but I cant help suspecting that if they had released a handheld/console link, it would have been much more of a gimmickky thing??

(although we'll have to see if thats what it turns out to be in the GC?)

It's certainly a selling point for both machines.

I heard that in some sports games you will be able to use the GBA screen to change tactits, without doing it on screen, so your opponent can't see what yuo're up to.

I'd wager that the Advance and Cube will uplink rather well, especially for this sort of thing. After all, you can even use the Advance as a controller for it.
