I've saved a track off a CD using Wndows Media Player, and I want to edit the track, as I am putting onto a CD-R, but want to get rid of all the 'no song' bit of the the track (its one of those 'secret' tracks where you have to wait about 15 mins before it comes on...)

Anyway, I'm sure you can do this with Windows Media Player, as I'm sure I remember doing it before, and it involved converting the file into some other file type, so you could view the wave pattern of the song and cut bits out and all that. Thing is I can't for the life of me remember how I did this before... :S

Any ideas...?
Cheers

if you have a cd burner, you've probably got NERO, use the Wave Editor, chop the silence off and resave it, NERO supports resaving as mp3 :)

Don't know if you can do it with MP, search for a music editor on download.com they have loads of useful free utilities.

Over the years I've become very jaded after many bad experiences with customer services, you have bucked the trend. Polite and efficient from the Freeola team, well done to all involved.
Brilliant service.
Love it, love it, love it!
