Did I ever make a mistake requesting feedback by email.
Sent something off to a magazine, and requested feedback. Via email. As if the first line didn't already tell you that.
But now I find myself opening spam email, thinking that it could be the response I'm after.
I've been getting ones with subject lines like "Evaluation" and such like, thinking that they're the one, and they're not.
Next time I'm sending an SAE and waiting on the mail!

One of these spammers sent out a shedload of emails but, for some reason, put my cousin's email as the 'Reply-To' address. The result? He got over 5,000 emails in just under 24 hours!
Most of them were "Message Undeliverable" or "Unsolicited Message Returned" but there were a few from people who had actually replied with stuff like "This is the 3rd time I've emailed you - please remove me from your list!" I know this because I'm the mug who had to trawl through them all to pick out the genuine emails ...

Ah! the beauty of AOL. A few days ago I came online to find 25 emails, or there abouts, none of them from anyone I know.

People posting email addresses in forums doesn't help, spiders just suck up any email address and voila! Spam.

Heh. One of our reps was inundated with spam recently. We are talking about 200+ penile enlargement / viagra / porn spams a day, all to be collected on a modem 56k.
When asked what he could have done to cause it, his reply was "well, I got one in about viagra, and I replied to them asking to be taken off the mailing list"
Cue confimed email address being forwarded to many, many spammers........

Bearing in mind I got nekkid onstage recently, I was mightily distressed at all the spam emails I was receiving me telling me that I should get my penis extended by up to 3 inches...
I never get any spam email at home and, in a plug for the site, it is a Freeola account. Mindst I am very careful about who gets my home email address.
Once I downloaded a version of Netscape and foolishly signed up for an email account so I would have an alternative. When I remembered to check it I discovered over 140 emails all spam. I have never gone into it since.

I usualy get one decent email, maybe 2.
I've been getting the same e-mail 3 times a day for the last 6 months from this guy telling me size matters. I keep mailing back saying: "Yeah, I know, really, but haven't you got anything that can make it SMALLER?". He never answers. If it weren't for spreadable butter I'd be stuck.
