What is the future of multiplayer gaming? We've already reached great heights in the FPS, RPG and RTS parts of it, and we're beginning to look at simulations, but where else can we go? How about an online beat-em-up? With tournaments for fighters. Or what about Fifa online? With online premier divisions.
But what about classic multiplayer? I'm talking about Bomberman, Mario Bros, and the original, Pong. These are the games which started it all, and were all brilliant. So why don't people make games like this anymore? Why not create a huge online Bomberman, not any cheesy Atomic Bomberman? Why not an online recreation of the original Mario Bros.? And why not make a DECENT version of Pong, unlike the one Atari have recently released.

Bring back the classic multiplayer gaming, and advance all the current games!

Multiplayer games have been alot better recently, although the N64 and DC have the 4 control ports, online gaming is becoming a very popular exciting prospect.

I don't think we need to worry about multi-player gaming, I mean with the DC's internet acces, the GBA link up, the Gamecube 4 ports, the PS2 multi-tap the X-Box's 4 ports as well as other various games and peripherals, we can safely say the multi-player gaming has secured its place in the future! Games should be great and as in the MARIO KART ADVANCE discussion, even the little Gameboy is looking tough at the front line with the 4 main release games all haveing 1-4 player action. With all this only 2-3 weeks away...it is time to get excited...if you aren't already!!!
