I agree that half our fans are a bunch of mindless thugs. I still support England, but it's waned when you see teams like Korea and Japan with such enthusiastic and kind fans, and then you see us...

Do we really deserve to win anything with fans like that?

However Turkey are much worse, so I'm very pleased we got the result saturday. {:)

They were wearing Arsenal shirts, honestly! They're the same design as the Turkish ones, although with different logos.

Then again, it's not exactly surprising seeing that they were Arsenal fans- almost as bad as Milwall!

Do you not think that the Turks and the media pressured the FA into taking such a strong stance travelling fans

The FA should take a long hard look at the players, managers and theirselves. After the events of the last couple weeks,i think they`re all a disgrace to themselves, to coin an old expression"never air your dirty laundry in public".

I can't beleive how many England fans trying to get into Turkey for the match.

Are they stupid after being told not too?

If we want British football to come out of the 'poor light', we need an incident-free match against the Turks.

Or a match that's cancelled because of the Turkish fans going on the rampage and creating such a dangerous situation so England are given the win for their troubles. That sort of thing has happened before.

Still, I do understand the point. Football is in a poor light at the moment. And the saying where there is smoke there is fire may prove to be true. With so many allegations there is likely to be a bit of truth in something.
