It's nice to be proven wrong when you hope you're not right. In a just world it would happen more often, but it isn't (hopefully someone can prove me wrong on that!). It shouldn't be the case that the pessimists are always right - maybe if the pessimists actually ran things we'd be a lot better off.

Heh. Depends on what is being discussed. If its my views on social issues, then basically I want to be right. If its my views on exactly how &*^%^% up the world is, and how its getting worse, then I LONG to be proven wrong.

But when one has vacuous intellectual and moral cowards like Bell arguing the point....well, it's not very likely really. I like arguing with IB; he at least thinks about what he says rather than parroting something he's heard and never thought about. And most others on this board I tend to agree with!

It's a win-win situation.

...which, unfortunately, rarely happens. Predominantly cos world events tend to (depressingly) prove I'm in the right ballpark with my opinions.

And the only people who seem to want to convince me that my fundamental assumptions are flawed are...well, we either end up agreeing to disagree (when they're people who actually know how to debate), or they end up squealing like little piggies at what a nasty man I am for not blindly agreeing with them (when they're idiots and cowards).

On the occasions that I get argued into to the ground and am demonstrably shown to be incorrect...well, that's what makes me happy!

What makes me happy? In no real order...

- Friendship between enemies
- Fundamentalists of any hue being shown up for the dullwitted doublethinkers they are.
- Being in love
- Someone being in love with me
- Getting good reviews for acting
- Seeing my pessimistic outlook on the world proved wrong.

Na I mean like hip hop and tap, ballet etc. I trained for years. Thats dancing.
