Well, that's a lie. I didn't see it all. Probably just over an hour. But I enjoyed it. I think it was Snuggly who recommended it, so ta muchly or else I wouldn't have bothered going.
Supposedly it's Pulp Fiction with a story, and as I haven't seen Pulp Fiction (don't hurt me) it reflects very badly on that - because I don't think City of God without the story would be much cop. Maybe that wasn't an accurate comparison, I dunno.

The first Scorcese film I ever saw was... Gangs of New York, when it came out at the cinema this year. *blushes* Seen plenty since though.

Well, you're not as bad as a kid at college. Hasn't even seen the Back To The Future films, or Indiana Jones, or any other films he should have grown up watching. He only saw Jurassic Park a year ago... he scares me, especially since he's on a MEDIA course.
