It is widely noted that the Gameboy is, by far, the most successfull handheld console ever. But will the Gameboy Advance add anything new to the scene?

I, for one, can't wait for the release of this powerful little thing, especially if the rumored retail price of less than £80 holds true.

This main selling points for the Gameboy has been the size (it's portable...) and the quality/quantity of games available. It remains to be seen if the new machine will be able to follow suit.

A handheld console as powerful as a Playstation with a high-resolution TFT monitor, larger than the GB, sounds great. But without an array of addictive, playable, fun games, it might as well weigh a ton and have the processing power of the Spectrum ZX.

The four-player feature surely adds something much needed to the scene, but how many games will support it? And if the games aren't good enough, how are you gonna find four friends who would actually play?

I hope that the GBA can live up to is predecessor, but I am still kind of reprehensive... What do you think???
