After watching two programs do their dirty work on my PC, I have come to the comclusion that it is infected with a couple of virus. So, I try to start NAV by clicking the icon in the start menu. Upon doing this, an error message appears on-screen with the title "Error occured" and the following message:

"Module acess violation in module kernel32 at 1535:26725833"

I am unable to use NAV via the actual program, but it'll scan if I right-click a file/folder and choose "Scan with Norton Antivirus" from the drop-down menu.

So, can anyone help me with this?
Many thanks in advance

Even if you uninstall and reinstall it the problem will persist.

What about reinstalling NAV and then seeing if it will run then? Of course you will need to update the virus checker with all the latest virus info.
