to function nowadays. What, with all the scaremongering of the mass media "MRSA is out of control!! We are all going to die!" and "asteroid going to hit us in 11 years!! Going to die!" Even though it has been proved it will miss. Yes, without an open mind we would believe that the US and UK went to war with Iraq with the people in mind, not caring about the huge oil reserves.... remind you of the Vietnam crisis, America? All that rubber and tungsten didn't compensate for the lives of over 58,000 servicemen and countless veterans after the Agent Orange wreaked its damage through cancer, did it? Nope.
And then there is the Daily Mail's campaign against immigrants. Granted, they are a problem, but we would be had to believe they are responsible for all the nations problems. Not so, actually.

You have to bear in mind that the Daily Mail is aimed at the middle classes and classes anyone who is working class as stupid, anyone who is retired to be a drain on taxpayers money and anyone who isn't white with blonde hair and blue eyes to be a benefit claiming fraudster.
I think society throws so much stuff at us and changes its mind way too often for anyone to stay to one set of rules in their life. As technology advances we realise how insignificant we are to the grand scheme of things and to be honest it scares me sometimes.
