Another scary story about the abuse of government power, and one with a lot of similarities to the David Kelly situation.
I've tried not to talk very much about the Hutton inquiry because I think it's being used for political points scoring by both sides when it should really just be about one man. (This wouldn't be a problem if we had a proper inquiry about the war, but still.) One thing I remembered the other day, though, was that when Labour first came to power they were going to enact a piece of 'whistleblower' legislation that would protect employees who revealed the illegal or unsafe activities of their bosses. Funny how governments are always exempt from these sorts of things.
