It seems as though a brand new series of Stargate has started up, much to my suprise. As I was sure that the previous series was to be the last.

I for one am glad it's back on.

One particular scene in last nights episode made me laugh (near the end) as it resemble a certain scene from a starwars movie.

anyone see it?

Excalibur never even made it past 5 epsiodes let alone 7 series'.

Anyway Stargate was brilliant tonight, lot better than last weeks episode.

I like the humour in it, it remind me of good old Babylon 5 and Excalibur.

I loved it, I'm sorry if i haven't posted this before but i'm probably the most number 1 fan of stargate on this forum, but the thing is most people on here hate it completely.

The episode may have been a bit starwarsy but it wa brilliant.

to be honest, despite loving the film sg1 didn't do it for me. too much politics and not enough wars with the go'ou'ld(sp)

still, that bird would have got it, no questions asked

Yeah the whole 'vent thing/mothership' etc was very StarWars. Better characters though. ;)

It should be on Sky Mix tonight if anyone missed it yesterday and wants to see it.
