Fantastic movie. Self-indulgent and confusing, yes, but fantastic nonetheless.

I so want 'The 3' to be a real movie.

Anyone that hasn't seen it, Charlie Kaufman was asked to adapt a book, 'The Orchid Thief'. He couldn't do it. He wrote a screenplay about himself struggling to write a screenplay based on 'The Orchid Thief' instead. Then he created a twin brother who wrote action movies to help him along the way.

And because I've also shared many moments staring at blank pages, this movei hold a special place for me now.

I was going to buy this the other day but bought Requiem for a Dream instead. Looks good, but thought it might be boring. Worth a see seeing as it's got Nicholas Cage and Meryl Streep in. Is this the movie with Chris Cooper in too?

I can barely remember Being John Malkovic - must see that again soon.

Have you seen the teaser trailer for 'Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind' (Kaufman's next). Got Jim Carrey and Kate Winslett in it. About erasing part of your memory... Looks good.

Currently got the trailer over at movies.yahoo.com

I prefered Being John Malkovitch, but also enjoyed this, although Kaufman goes a bit too surreal in places.
