Anyone done one of these? If so I have a couple of qestions, if you don't mind:
How long does it take?
I have about 4 weeks before I leave the country. I'm reasonably computery but haven't used any of the specific packages except word much.
I have little else to do, so I can put in a few hours a day.
Can I do it from home? Does that include the assessment bits?
Can you recommend any good people to do it with?

It takes the average spod off the street about 12 weeks to finish, although the record in my office is an hour and a half. It takes between 4 to 8 weeks to actually get your certificate once you've finished though.

You can't at my office, and certainly you'd have to come in to do the exams. There's nothing saying you actually have to look at the manuals though, so if you know it all you can just sit the tests (see 1.5 hour record above). You could buy a book, do it at home and just do the exams, although tbh you might as well just go in to the training facility.

There are different companies everywhere that will do it, usually attached to or part of a higher-education college.
