The Hori GameCube pads are the best for fighters out of the 3, but people with normal GameCube pads may find it fairly annoying to play, and having Link, strangely, isn't just a novel thing, he fits into the cast very well and his moves rock.

The GameCube has better lighting effects, but the XBox excels in other areas.
I prefer the Hori Pad to regular pads, I was surprised it worked so well on a 3D fighter, but it does, it's much better for quarter-circles and half-circles than an analogue stick and PS2 d-pad.
