Well for me Link is still the best out of the 3, especailly spawn who i have seen doesn't have many moves except for Link who has as many as the other characters.
But Link does not always beat all in terms of using the soul charge moves, i'd say the females especially Ivy rule in this section.

I prefer the Hori Pad to regular pads, I was surprised it worked so well on a 3D fighter, but it does, it's much better for quarter-circles and half-circles than an analogue stick and PS2 d-pad.
The GameCube has better lighting effects, but the XBox excels in other areas.

The Hori GameCube pads are the best for fighters out of the 3, but people with normal GameCube pads may find it fairly annoying to play, and having Link, strangely, isn't just a novel thing, he fits into the cast very well and his moves rock.
