I think Ricky Gervais would be ideal.

Dr Who was rubbish. The odd repeat I've watched on UK Gold almost make me feel shameful, that such tripe used to entertain me. Ditto all these "cool", "retro" 80s cartoons people are too busy listing to actually remember they sucked. Sure, as an 8 year old, great! But after puberty? No way.

Anthony Stewart Head (Giles off Buffy) was considered for Dr Who a coupla years back. Be cool (for me, anyways, not you lot) if he got it.
It'd be a scream if Rowan Atkinson landed with the role.
