Okay, here is my scenario. I was in an MSN converstion. I initallised the webcam. The conversation froze, with nothing happening. I can't type on the convo. CTRL + ALT + DEL won't end MSN either. It has happened before and the only way I could resolve the situation was to turn off my PC at the plug. Now that isn't healthy for the PC, so I was wondering is there a way to fix the problem without resorting to switching it off. All help appreciated.

Well, you could just yank the plug out, send it down a river and chuck flour over it, that'll probably solve EVERYTHING...
CTRL + ALT + DELETE then do it again = restart Windows
And if you're using Windows XP (I don't think that works, may be wrong) CTRL + ALT + DELETE then select 'Turn Off' from the shut down menu.
