WWE Your Shout :: September

So DW is back with his little monthly crap.

Just say your views on the topics below.

• DUDLEY BOYZ dft LA RÉSISTANCE AND ROB CONWAY

The idea of a three on two handicap; the whole Rob Conway/La Résistance trio and the whole angle with Spike’s injury.

• LITA AND TRISH dft MOLLY AND GAIL KIM

Lita’s return, and her new Lara Croft style attire. Molly and Gail’s relationship, and the whole of the Diva’s division.

• TEST dft SCOTT STEINER

Scott Steiner now being Test’s bítch; Stacy ‘accidentally’ hitting Steiner and the possible heel turn of Big Poppa Pump and Stacy.

• CHRISTIAN dft ROB VAN DAM and CHRIS JERICHO

The push Christian is getting, deserved? Rob Van Dam just being thrown into the match without much of a feud before and the chance of seeing a face turn for Jericho.

• COACH AND AL SNOW dft JERRY LAWLER AND JIM ROSS

New commentators for RAW, the whole angle and the future for JR and King.

• RANDY ORTON dft SHAWN MICHAELS

The controversial finish, whether or not it was a good idea to let Orton win and where for Michaels and Orton now?

• KANE dft SHANE MCMAHON

Kane’s horrible new attire, Shane’s big bump and the match in general.

• GOLDBERG dft TRIPLE H

Just go all out on this match :cD

And go all out on all the matches. Enjoy.

• DUDLEY BOYZ dft LA RÉSISTANCE AND ROB CONWAY
La Resistance could be good technical wrestlers if they didn't have such a boring personality. As has been mentioned before, they don't even get half as much heat as they used to, and just don't have much of a personality any more. Didn't see that much of Rob Conway, and haven't been watching much of RAW recently so I won't give an opinion on him. The Dudleyz still going strong with their tables, but Bubba needs to brush up on his actual wrestling skills.

• LITA AND TRISH dft MOLLY AND GAIL KIM
I couldn't normally care for the women's division, as to me the women can't hit the moves properly, can't bump at all (even minorly) and their matches are just generally balls. This was relatively good, however. Still nothing in comparison to any of the other matches at Unforgiven, but it was better than I've seen from most female matches in the past. Lita carried the match, and I believe these four women are the best four actual wrestlers in the WWE. Still average when compared to anything else though.

• TEST dft SCOTT STEINER
Say what you like about Steiner and Test, but both of them aren't really bad wrestlers. They've just been in this crappy storyline for far too long. Steiner can't take bumps, no, but he has some good offensive moves, while Test is generally quick for a guy of his size. He's got the strength as well. The match had potential, but that was months ago. Now it's boring. Stacy should take her 6ft long legs and stroll out of the company for all I care - she does nothing.

• CHRISTIAN dft ROB VAN DAM and CHRIS JERICHO
Easily the best match of the night. All of these guys are good at wrestling, and finally Christian is getting the push he needs. They're being a bit retarded with what they're doing with Chris Jericho, as he should easily be challenging for the World Heavyweight and not the Intercontinental, and Rob Van Dam just looks completely out of place. Without the Hardcore Title, there's not much to do for him. Christian is where he needs to be, though, and I hope he stays there.

• COACH AND AL SNOW dft JERRY LAWLER AND JIM ROSS
Boring. Best word to describe it really. Al Snow proved he still has a little bit of wrestling skill in him, as did The King, although to a lesser extent. JR and The Coach were useless. The sooner we get The King and JR back as the commentators on RAW, the better.

• RANDY ORTON dft SHAWN MICHAELS
Randy Orton has potential, don't get me wrong... but is he really built to be challenging Shawn Michaels at this early stage in his career? I don't think so. "The Legend Killer" really didn't kill a legend, as he only won the match using outside help, and Michaels clearly dominated. A bit of a muck up for the storywriters (again), and I think they need to get their thinking caps on to try and work out something decent to do with Orton. Michaels too - he's nothing just now.

• KANE dft SHANE MCMAHON
Wasn't bad. but, as Grandprix said, Kane is being turned average. He didn't defeat Shane in this match - Shane defeated Shane. Impressive stuff from The Money, no doubt, but if they're wanting to put Kane over a monster, they need to do it a different way. Shane chucking himself off high objects doesn't do Kane any good. Yet another piece of unthought-out storyline writing by these so-called professionals.

• GOLDBERG dft TRIPLE H
It was inevitable. Goldberg had to win. If he didn't, then there wouldn't have been much point in signing him in the first place. Maybe if he gets a decent opponent he'll be able to do something, but he really needs to work on getting some new moves in his inventory, as right now, he's seriously lacking. Maybe in a match with Jericho or someone else that has talent, he could do well, but right now, I don't know who is going to challenge him, as The Game lost the title so he could have a break. Knowing the WWE, he'll be the champion again in a few months, and then he'll hold it for yet another 3/4 of a year, boring us all to hell. Not much can be done by giving Goldberg the title, you know, WWE? Bring back The Rock and get him to defeat this talentless mongolite.

Overall, Unforgiven was a pretty good PPV. The matches were sound enough, but the ideas. Dear God, they couldn't have made it more confusing.

• DUDLEY BOYZ dft LA RÉSISTANCE AND ROB CONWAY

The whole three on two was just so Spike didn't have to go through another table again. The trio have a lot to prove because it's easy to draw heat from being French. Now they have to work on being interesting. They played the Spike injury was just a storyline because La Resistance botched a table smash on Raw. They just played off that.

As table matches go, this weren't bad.

• LITA AND TRISH dft MOLLY AND GAIL KIM

Lita's cool and should inject some life to the division. I have no thoughts on Molly and Gail and the division looks pretty weak past the top couple of women.

As women's matches go, this was one of the better ones. Probably one of the best infact.

• TEST dft SCOTT STEINER

Steiner main eventing to be being Test's property. He deserved neither. I hope Stacy and Steiner do turn heel so I don't have to watch another Test V Steiner match.

The match blew, unsurprisingly.

• CHRISTIAN dft ROB VAN DAM and CHRIS JERICHO

The push Christian is getting is deserved if he was actually getting a decent push. They don't have a clue what to do with RVD so they will probably give him the Intercontinental title in an attempt to please him. Jericho's face turn won't be happening for a bit now he's in this Austin feud thing.

As the match went along, it was pretty obvious that RVD was looking less than motivated, probably because he had to do the job at the PPV again. I think RVD leaving the company is a distinct possibility. The match did not look that great.

• COACH AND AL SNOW dft JERRY LAWLER AND JIM ROSS

The less said about this, the better. Pretty basic wrestling from The King and Al Snow which did no harm. JR and The King will get their jobs back. The best bit of the match was when The Coach started screaming "Not in the face!" To give this match almost 10 minutes was a total mistake and could have pushed someone else with that time.

• RANDY ORTON dft SHAWN MICHAELS

Orton had to win to get himself over more but did he really win? Michaels kicked out of Orton's finisher but Orton didn't kick out of Michaels. It was only by Flair's intervention that he got the decision overturned. So really Orton isn't in Michaels league.

The match was pretty basic and exposed Orton a bit. Good for what it was.

• KANE dft SHANE MCMAHON

They are turning Kane into just another wrestler with every passing week. Shane's bump was okay but totally wrong for the match and I'll show why.

The match result implies that Kane couldn't beat Shane because Shane did the big bump and beat himself, thus stealing the glory. It did nothing to get Kane over as a monster heel and the match was pretty dull until the end.

• GOLDBERG dft TRIPLE H

Goldberg is only good when the matches are short and the person he's fighting will bump for him. The match had neither. Triple H is a crippled has-been and needs a break. Goldberg gets really exposed in the longer matches because he doesn't have the moves to back it up.

The match was what you would expect, dull and predictable. At least the title is on someone else although Triple H will probably be the next champ.

Overall thoughts:

Not a whole lot here to show Raw is heading in the right direction. We just need some life injected through the show, especially the main event but Goldberg isn't going to be the one to do that. A major change of ideas is required. Not a good PPV, nowhere near the quality of Vengeance.

It's not crap, pal, it's by far my fave topic in this forum.
Anyway.....

Sorry about the shortness of this, I wrote it out, and it got deleted, so I am not @ssed typing ou the full version again.

• DUDLEY BOYZ dft LA RÉSISTANCE AND ROB CONWAY

The idea of a three on two handicap:
This match changed stipulation THREE times. First it was three on three, then it was a handicap, THEN it was changed to a title match. Shows how unsure the WWE were of the whole angle.

The whole Rob Conway/La Résistance trio:
They should put Rob Conway in a singles feud. They should fire La Resistance, or rehash their gimmick, it has lost some serious heat in the last few months.

And the whole angle with Spike’s injury:
Was he actually injured? It's all just a predictable storyline. Next!

• LITA AND TRISH dft MOLLY AND GAIL KIM

Lita’s return, and her new Lara Croft style attire:
Glad to see Lita back, and to be honest, she is looking as hot as ever.(see below)

Molly and Gail’s relationship, and the whole of the Diva’s division:
Unfortunatly, for me, the Diva's division is exactly that:The DIVA'S division. The fans and WWE prefer eye-candy to actual wrestling ability.

• TEST dft SCOTT STEINER
Boring match, actually. No suprise there.
Scott Steiner now being Test’s bítch:
Yay, more low-brow video nonsense during Raw!

Stacy ‘accidentally’ hitting Steiner and the possible heel turn of Big Poppa Pump and Stacy.
I would like to see Steiner turn heel, and get a bit of a push, to upper-mid card. As for Stacy, meh.

• CHRISTIAN dft ROB VAN DAM and CHRIS JERICHO
Incredible match. Possibly the best of the night.

The push Christian is getting, deserved?
Yeah, totally. It's great! Christian is a top wrestler.

Rob Van Dam just being thrown into the match without much of a feud before and the chance of seeing a face turn for Jericho.
RVD is over-rated, so whatever.
As for Jericho, it doesn't look like we are going to see a face turn for some time now. Which is a crying shame.

• COACH AND AL SNOW dft JERRY LAWLER AND JIM ROSS

New commentators for RAW, the whole angle and the future for JR and King.
Coach and Snow will last TWO weeks. Its holidays for JR and King, thats all.

• RANDY ORTON dft SHAWN MICHAELS
A great match, also contender for match of the night.
The controversial finish:
The brass knuckles? Bah.
Heres the thing: The WWE's aim was to have Orton get a push by beating a big name superstar. But the fact that he cheated just took away from the credibility of his win. WWE's writing team are really idiots.

Whether or not it was a good idea to let Orton win:
See above. Michaels also sat up straight after the pin, which is a real miss-sell. Brass knucks hurt, don't they?

and where for Michaels and Orton now?
Orton to get a further push. Hopefuly NOT against a face Triple H.
As for HBK, he needs to turn HEEL!
He seems to care about the fans cheering him, but they will soon stop if he continues to lose his matches.
(he hasn't won a PPV match since Wrestlemania)

• KANE dft SHANE MCMAHON
The most entertaining match of the night, not necessarily the best, but entertaining nonetheless.
Kane’s horrible new attire:
I quite liked it.

Shane’s big bump and the match in general.
The bump was great, and the match had it's high points. Van terminator etc.

• GOLDBERG dft TRIPLE H
A fairly poor match, NOT because of Triple H's injury, but because GOLDBERG is unable to wrestle.
Keep cheering him, kiddies, then he'll keep that title.
Alot of people predict that he'll hold that title until Wrestlemania, but I predict that he will defend it a few times at PPVs and WWE will note the poor quality of all the matches and will make him lose it. heh.

OVERALL: This PPV was disastrous.(not in a good way)
It had its high-points, but some of the matches were really dull.
Average, at best, especially after Summerslam being so solid.
Ah well, roll on No Mercy......

WWE Your Shout :: September

So DW is back with his little monthly crap.

Where'd crap come into it?! :S :D

• DUDLEY BOYZ dft LA RÉSISTANCE AND ROB CONWAY

Finally... La Resistance have been defeated! It's about time! They're boring. Especially when they're facing the Dudleyz all the time. Although the table match turned out OK on this occasion.

• LITA AND TRISH dft MOLLY AND GAIL KIM

It's about time Lita returned... And also, finally Molly is the champ again. Thats all I have to say about the divas division. :)

• TEST dft SCOTT STEINER

Bah. Test Vs Steiner - Boring as usual although it will be interesting to see where they take this storyline over the next few weeks...

• CHRISTIAN dft ROB VAN DAM and CHRIS JERICHO

Bah. Jericho should have won this! The match was great. Definately my favourite of the whole PPV.

• COACH AND AL SNOW dft JERRY LAWLER AND JIM ROSS

I wouldn't be surprised to see JR and King re-instated in a few weeks by Stone Cold because I can see Coach and the Snowman starting to be boring commentators after a while...

• RANDY ORTON dft SHAWN MICHAELS

Bah. HBK should have won this! I can see why they let Orton win though - He's getting a half-deserved push! Legend Killer Not though...

• KANE dft SHANE MCMAHON

This match was good. Shaneo made it tops as per usual. Kane added to the effect!

• GOLDBERG dft TRIPLE H

Bah. We all knew it would happen... A Goldberg victory! Noooooo! We've got to put up with him as champ? Hopefully Y2J will take the title away from him. And soon... :)
