They're basically all identical in my feeble, unknowledgable eyes.
That's where you lot come into it.

I'd probably do some research before hand - Get to know how graphics cards work etc :P
Overclocking is basically 'tweaking' your graphics card to give you better performance. Maybe 3 or 4 fps (frames per second) better then standerd - Meaning you'll get faster games and maybe a slight increase in graphics power.
Wooooo! I hear you cry - Well its not all that good.
Overclocking is pushing your hardware beyond its "set limit" - meaning you'll probably take around 5 years off its life.
The higher you push = The hotter the Graphics processor gets until it eventually burns out and dies. Meaning you'll have to sort out some sort of cooling system before hand to keep it alive and running well.

*Woosh*
There it goes over my head.
I've heard of overclocking. But I have absolutely no idea what it involves.
Could someone explain a little more, please?

And oh, I had my eyes on the Sapphire 9600 Pro from Eclipse-Computers.
My dad should receive his Tyra one tomorrow - so I'll see how that performs.
Is the 9600 Pro from Eclipse a good choice then?
You my friend need a Sapphire 9600 pro. Seeing as i've just recieved mine - i'm very happy and its an extremly good card for use. Its definatly worth the extra £20 then the other one because Sapphire do seriously make good cards at affordable prices.
Hey and its a DX9 Radeon - what more could you ask for?

Hi Mod! - to stop yourself looking like a moron...

For future reference i would like to point out that this sentence actually reads like you are thanking yourself.
Thanks

I don't honestly know how that would compare performance-wise. I'm starting to twig that there's a lot more to graphics card performance than 3DMark scores (for instance if you run a high resolution like I do, image clarity is very important). That Tyan card looks very swish - punch it into google, and see if you can find any reviews/opinions.
its better than the 9600s
