Infringement of civil liberties or useful for solving immigration and fraud problems?
In the USA for example, you legally need to carry ID. I hate that.
However David Blunkett has said that it would not be necessary to carry the cards at all times, bit like a drivers license. Although if requested it would have to be handed in to a police station within a week.

GENIUS!!! We'll be cyborgs, technically!
But seriously, ID cards - no, because... because... Oh I've lost the will-to-live.
I don't know if that makes any sense

A friend of mine had a fake ID.
The only problem is that it was a kit where you had to write the details on it by yourself. He didnt have the clever idea of printing it off on a computer so he wrote on it with his spidery left handed font.
It looked so bad it wasnt even funny, how he got served, i'll never know.
But I decided to wait 3-4 months instead... well by wait I mean I still need to chance my arm at getting served but still.
Just another illegal-ID ring for shady people to make a mint on.
Screw that
