Does anybody know of a good free web server that I could install on my PC so I could test pages locally?

I've seen Apache but with that you've gotta install PHP and other stuff seperatly...

Are there any good servers that I could get that come with MySQL and PHP pre-installed? Otherwise, what good ones are there that are easy to set up?

I had this all-in-one warez once, but I got quickly annoyed with the inconsistency and general inferiority of the supplied webservers. Nothing other than apache will really do, and as I recall it's easy to install on Windows these days.

I never found much problem in installing PHP and MySQL separately anyway, and if you do that, then you are more flexible in updating to new versions of each bit as and when.

FWIW, my new favourite web server is Sambar. Runs PHP extra-specially quickly.

Search google for PHPdev, it installs PHP etc along with apache all in one go. Just a case of unzipping and running a batch file.
