Im a liverpool fan and i think this season is an absolutelt crucial one 4 us. If we do not have a good year and put up a god challenge 4 the premiership or at the very least qualify 4 the champions league, then our key players like Owen and Gerrard will leave the club and go on to better things, and then well b totally screwed and wont win nething!!!

I can't see Gerrard being as easily persuaded to leave. But Owen - I have a feeling he's got his eye on Italy, and has done for the past 3 years.
But I agree; they're an integral part of our team, and we need to be winning at the top to keep them there. Same with any team and their key players really...

Says in the ever "reliable" Daily Star today that Gerrard will sign a new 5 year contract.
But surely it will be tempting to flog him to Chelsea in january if roman comes in with the money rather than risk losing him for nothing.

I really can't see that working at all.....
I can't see Everton and Liverpool sharing a stadium.
As for this being a make or break season, I think a strong challenge for the title is enough this season. They must get in the Champions League though.
