What I don't understand is, why, when I have legally obtained an audio disc (this being the Kings of Leon - Youth and Young Manhood) I am unable to do the most simple of tasks with it. That stupid little media player it has means that I cannot extract the music onto my iPod or even play it on my Xbox.
In an obvious attempt to stop the copying of music, the RIAA, IRA or whoever are responible are simply endorsing it. I could easily download the tracks through Kazaa or some equally poor program, rip them to a CD and do as I please. But no. I won't.
But I shall not be buying any more of this tainted tripe, however much I like the music. I'm not putting the blame on the group (evidently) but this is simply ridiculous.
"It's a great album" 5 stars.
