for fans of the fantasy genre. (Not that fantasy you sicko). Anyway its called "The Dark Tower" by Stephen King. Not a horror but a good book series set in another world. I've only just started reading it so I can't comment, only so far as to say that I am enjoying it so far.
I read "The Life of Pi" about a month ago. It was pretty good and abstract.
I you like fantasy books, read The Chronicle of Thomas Covenant bt Stephen Donaldson.

Yeh, I read Hearts in Atlantis too before I heard of Dark Tower. Got me started on Dark Tower actually. HIA is a good book, methinks.

"The Wolves Of Calla", number 5, is being released on 4th November. They get better each and every one. Number 4 being my favorite.
There are references to The Dark Tower in a lot of Kings books, the most obvious being "Hearts In Atlantis" (The fanatasy elements being dropped altogether for the film)
