+ A Dolby Digital/DTS I could do with your help. I only got the player this morning and I have managed to get the Dolby Digital 5.1 working but I am having problems with the DTS. I have read the manual but am struggling to get it working. I select it from the DVD player menu but my AMP is not decoding the signal. Not sure what to do to be honest so I would appreciate some help.

I have got it to detect it on The Rock and Blade 2 DVD now just not the Hard Boiled DVD?! I wonder if its anything to do with it being Region 0 and that its in Cantonese DTS. Its not the end of the world because there is a 5.1 soundtrack on there as well I was just curious as to why it wouldn't recognise it.

Everything is hooked properly because I am receiving Dolby Digital 5.1 audio. However on the Hard Boiled and The Rock DVD's it will not play them in DTS despite selecting it from the menu.
You've got the optical lead all hooked up right?
