Why is that everyone on this planet seems to depend on creature comforts,such as T.Vs,radios,hairdryers,let us just think back to a time without creature comforts,long,long ago.......

I will set the scene.

You are looking down London High street on a wet,windy day,the year is 1845.

A horse and carriage passes you,there are no gadget stores,cookery stores,travel stores e.t.c,just old bakeries and cobblers
As you walk by the bakers with your coat held tight against the battering rain,the delicous smell of cakes wafts onto your nose mingling with the leather smell
You stare through the window and look down at your own paper-filling-the-holes shoes,if only you could afford a new pair,you stagger on off and collapse in the street as you have TB and you are in ill health.......

* * *

Back to the present day,you have fallen down as you are drunk,the only smells are of the now old fashioned cobblers modern shoe glue,you hardly need a new pair as you have the latest,best new ones....

The moral,spare a thought for those living on the street,if you think you are ever being "hard done by" just think of them living it rough on the streets..........

THE END

I like creature comforts, such as spaces after commas.

But the post does have a point to it.
