In its fifth year, the n64 itself looks set to play host to some amazing titles - Banjo-Tooie, Conkers Bad Fur Day(if it ever arrives on these shores!), ExciteBike, Mario Party 3, Eternal Darkness(in the US anyway), Pokemon Stadium Gold/Silver, Kirby 64, Mega Man(also only in the US) and Paper Mario. Nintendo's annoying policy of shunting back release dates has made this big pile of games even better.
Meanwhile, the Game has the biggest game ever(apparently) in the form of the anticiply waited Pokemon Gold/Silver in April, coupled with Mario Tennis(I have this game and recommend it to anyone looking for a Game Boy game), the NEW Zelda, and dozebns of others.Although Conkers Bad Fur day was due for release in September here, it now may never show its face meaning that if you want it you'll have to get it on import from America.
But, the N64 and Game Boy will not be stealing ALL the limelight. Game Boy Advance(scheduled for release in the UK in July/August ,not that it will stay there for much longer). Even if it doesn't it will be well worth the wait with titles like Mario Kart, F-zero and Mega Man.
Finally, there's the Gamecube. At the E3 show in Los Angeles on May 17th, the purple box of tricks will make its first fully-playable appearance, with titles like Wave Race, Metroid and Luigi's Mansion on the card. And if Nintendo keep there promises(not that they will) it will be in Japan by July and hopefully in the UK before Christmas(fingers crossed).
Loads of things to look forward to then, so don't give up on your N64 just yet.

Nintendo won't break promises. They haven't made any.
They have NEVER given a solid release date for the GameCube.
Other sources may have said it's when it's scheduled for release, but Nintendo have NOT set a date.
Guess I'm doomed to watch it all on Web Cam, which doesn't quite have the same refresh rate as the GameCube will, I suspect.
