getting really tired of talking about Tony Blair, Iraq, George bush and all that kind of thing...

why? because politics is one of the things that drives me round the bend. it really does. we all have plausible arguments and views on the war, Tony blair etc. etc, but i think it's starting to become too much a part of this forum.

it does say life and everything doesn't it?

this should include what we have talked about in the past, like meaning of life, purpose of life, how we were given life, how you're living your life. etc. etc.

i , and maybe other people, can't stand politics - and i'm sure some of you might object to this and say i'm not looking at life with a wide enough perspective, but sometimes life is a bit too unstable by itself let alone hearing about uranium weapons and political corruption in every single thread...

I'm just saying, life is full of enough bad news and corruption, deciet and lying as it is, without people reminding us of who did what, who's scandal involved which ex-prime ministers wife, and what the value of the cuban lima is at this minute.

Im not a keen follower of politics myself but every now and then someone posts something that attracts the attention of my (under-developed) political understanding ONLY then do I click on the subject.

In all honesty I would much rather read a bit of something that is definate (if slightly mundane) as opposed to philosophical abstract wierdness, on the purpose of my life etc...

Nothing wrong with politics topics.
Even though you might find them boring, you can't tell other people what to talk about.

If you want to talk about something else, make a topic to chat about it.
Complaining won't do jack, starting a topic might...

... change the forum!!!

it's happened before!

well... sort of...

I must say - I do like to have a little gander in the world of politics.

I find the goverment a farce. And why did'nt Geoff Hoon just resign?

The spaz.

(Don't answer that)

Politics is an integral part of society.

Office politics
Playground politics
College politics

Everyone takes part in some sort of activity that decides their social standing.

I'm not keen to talk about politics either, so I don't. I don't click on the topics that have subjects that I'm obviously not going to be interested in, and if I accidently find myself in a thread disscussing something that I don't want to, then I leave, and think no more of it.

If you want to talk about some other aspect of Life and Everything, then post your own threads, but what is the point of stopping other people disscussing what they want to?

Well sorry for wanting to talk about actual life-changing/threatening stuff that directly affects my future.

I guess we'll just talk about David Blaine and morons suing video game companies?

Tool.

You are not alone there, I hate politics too! Don't get me wrong, I do care and I have my opinions and keep up to date with the latest news, but I can't stand politics!
