Yeah, the Swedish political way of life seems like such a refreshing novelty. It would be a damned shame to see it go due to incidents like this.
It seems strange that such a relaxed society produces this. I also can't help feeling that the murderer has somehow missed the point of democracy as a whole.
The sad thing is that Sweden has one of the most relaxed societies when it comes to "celebs". She was doing her shopping with no bodyguards.
That's the equivalent of going to Selfridges and bumping into John Prescott.
And their PM was killed years ago after coming out of the cinema with his wife. Just went to see a film with everyone else, no security.
I hope they catch this murderer and I hope they retain their low-key approach to public figures.
Sweden is one of the few remaining countries that, in my opinion, do it right.
Commercials for toys are banned from television so as not to create screaming needy little brats, nonplussed attitude towards being famous...
