I know most of us have totally different tastes in music. A few are into similar bands as I like so I thought I may as well post this.
Went to see Matchbox20 last week, very good but the support band were also very good. Maroon5.
I'm a big fan of Counting crows and Ryan adams so if you like them or MB20 then check out maroon 5 if you havn't already.
Also Damien Rice. Bit more like Ryan Adams and is supposed to be great live. My brother went to see him in a small venue and half way through he took his guitar into the middle of the crowd and bought everyone a drink and played. Then when it approached the end he told everyone that if they keep the noise down he would play more acoustic songs and let the gig go on quite a bit longer that it should.
Matt Nathanson - Sings laid for the new american pie film. Has a few decent songs as well.

matchbox 20 are quite good, Saw counting crows in june, good entertainers. Liked em before like em more now, Saw Bryan Adams to, but not the cheap rip off alternative! good old Isle of wight festival!
