Well, I've played it and I don't think it's one of the best games I've ever played. But i'd have liked to have seen real combat situations and much more control over the characters. Even though the ff games are nice and well designed and everything, I still don't like the linear gameplay.

I know that a load of people are going to reply saying 'what's he talking about, linear gameplay indeed.' but that's what you get in most RPG's these days. If only the story branched out a little more and had wildly different endings, and if you could make your characters act as you wanted them to then I might be happier.

Personal taste again.

Most games would get annoying after a while but Final Fantasy aint an ordinary game, if u played ff7 (which was the best 1) u cant say that it isnt one of the best games u have played

Yes sometimes these games get tedious after a while

I dont know if its the best game eva, im buying it simply because of squaresofts reputation. I loved ff7 and ff8 so i c no reason that I wont love this.

I'll agree wiv u SNIPER or disagree when i have played on it for a bit :)

ff9 isn't the world's best game.

FF9 will be in my clutches hopefully on saturday so i will b next week
