Nope not really, its a good enough reason to join. If you come up with a decent post, game cheats, or walkthroughs or whatever else youll be in for a chance.
Random chat goes in General chat forum though, stick to each forum for what there meant for and everyone will be happy. I know you probably know that just thought id mention it.
