To pick what I'm doing for the next 4 years

Mmmm great

Strange structure

Social Sciences at Glasgow Uni. I'm definately doing Politics but I have another two places left and I'm not sure what to do. Sociology is looking good for second place but I'm not sure about third. I could do Philosophy or Psychology (probably spelt wrong). But then I think I could pick a 'real' subject as my third. Not sure what though, I should really read more.

So, as well. I wasn't worried about Uni but getting a bit anxious about it as I don't like new environments and sudden change and stuff.

So everyone explain about them and starting Uni and stuff.

"Sociology is looking good for second place"

I'd definitely take sociology, even *I* found it interesting.

Oh, and sociology and psychology are basically rival subjects. Sociology says you pick things up as you go and that makes you the way you are, psychology says you're born that way. Although I only did sociology, it made perfect sense to me, and some of the people who did both preferred sociology a LOT more.

Do drama or something - all the fit birds will be on those courses.

Haha

I'm smart enough to do the top paying courses but none of them interested me. I want to spend four years learning about stuff that I want to more know about because I like it.

Although now I'm bricking myself that I'll end up doing my part-time job full-time.

Anyone thinking of doing a psychology degree should have a rethink, unless you want to work in a call centre.

Im normally a nervous person when it comes to change, but i wasnt worried about uni at all. Its just so cool. One word of advice, most of the little lectures that the union have are pretty worthless, and not worth attending, particularly if they are fairly early (anything before 11am).

I personally wouldnt do psychology, it really is a common as muck subject. The length of the queue you will have to stand in to sign up for it will probably bug you too.

Theres my thrupney bit.
