ACE COMBAT 5: SQUADREN LEADER/THE UNSUNG WAR
A month or so ago I had the choice of buying MGS3, GT4, Rugby 2005 or Ace Combat5. I choose Ace Combat 5 because I've played rugby 2004 and its basicaly the same as 2005, and MGS3 was to me boreing and GT4 was to expensive.
Ace Combat 5 is a flight simulator, where you are Blaze a rookie fighter jet piolet whos life is turned around when he becomes squadren leader. You are in charge of three other pilots, Nagasy, Edge, Grimm and later Snow.
When Yuktabonia and Osea go to war you are the first line of defense against oncoming attack. From dog fighting, bombing, defending, transporting and spying you do it all. Learn how to take off, land and re-fuel.
When you become knowen as the ghosts of razrgiz you are feared by all and worshiped by some. But after being wrong accused of being trators you must escape and jion the other army.
You will go through every emotion possable, joy and sadness but your wingmen are always there for you. The storyline line is great, the graphic out-of-this-world and a 1000s of hours worth of game play scores 10 of 10 with me.
With a story mode with different skill levels, an arcade game, tutorials and loads of hidden extras it is worth £30. The best game of 2005 so far.

the games pretty good. the flight characteristics are not even close to being real but thats a non-issue as the game is still good fun.
