So I'm reinstalling my Medieval Total War CD, after feeling like playing it after watching Time Commanders the other night. So anyway, its all going fine, until it hits 37%, and it can't install a certain file. I look at the disc, and there is a small scratch, about half a cm in size. And that is what is most likely wrecking the game. I hate CD's.
Yeh, bad luck to you too. Are you going to take Splinter Cell back?
NB surely if you use it more than once on one CD, it will wear the cd down totally and reduce it to dust.

You can get CD cleaner things from HMV for around £25 that grind the top surface off and polish it up, so making the CD or DVD playable again. Of course it is reusable. Called a Spin Doctor I think.
How long you had the game?
The bit that annoys me is that its 30 quid down the drain.
