Posted about this in Roj's topic, but I thought I'd make a seperate top in case this interests any of you

It's the account of a National Geographic reporter, with photographs, of Iraq prior, during and after the war, from the Iraqi side. She's French, and she spent around 8 months in Iraq and Baghdad covering the story, all the photographs are unique, and as far as I'm aware, exclusive to National Geographic.

It shows, better than anything IMO, what life was like for ordinary Iraqi's , far better than any news report I've seen anyway. There is also a feature in the new magazine as well. All her reports and photographs were kept by her until the fall of the regime, hence what the reader/viewer is given is not just what the regime, or the coalition, wanted everyone to see/not see. She also offers one of the most unbiased reports of the events, IMO.

Might take a while to load on dial up but it is worth the wait, and turn on your speakers 'cause it's audio dictation over the images.
