The world would flood I think.

The moon makes makes in the seas which is a form of energy ans as with any reaction energy is lost via heat which is turn causes evaporation of small quantities of sea water which in turn keeps the sea levels even because more and more waste products are pumped into the sea which makes is gradually rise. The moon keeps a gentle equilibruim, I think.

Seasons would become unpredictable. The gravitational pull of the moon keeps the world tilted the way it is, I think, according to "If We Had No Moon" on the Discovery channel. So without a moon, the Earth would swing all over the place at all angles, and seasons would become really wierd.

Cool!

AND:

What would happen if there were 2 moons?
Wouldn't that be really bad - pulling the sea all over the place?

From what I gather, if we had no moon, our seas would be much calmer.

As for the gravitational pull from the moon - it probably wouln't change too much if it weren't there.

Scientists would just send up a big gravity orb to rotate around the Earth.

I want a gravity machinein my house, so that I can make the gravity 20 N, this way, it would counteract the Earths Gravitaional pull by 10 N, maeaning that I would be standing normal, except upside down, without my blood rushing to my head because of the Earth's (Gay) gravity.
