In that respect it was good, but the men just slid backwards when pushed. They didn't fall out of the way, and only a few were gorred by the elephants.

Did you see how many seperately animated characters there were on screen? It wasn't like it was a video or anything, there were technicians carrying out the orders of the team on computers, actually playing Rome:Total War.
You can buy that game. It's extremely impressive.

Yes, the software could have been better, perhaps they should have got a license for the "Massive!" software from weta digital.
I thought the actual software used was a bit crap. The horses got there and then just carried on running on the spot for a while, and men people got pushed out of the way they just did a wombmalk or something instead of actually walking backwards.
Alright programme though.

The elephants seemed to kill only one man in seven, and just push the other six flying.
I thought the carthaginian's were screwed when their cavalry was routed.
