I have a document I recieved from a friend written in notepad. However, when I opened it was all "gobbledeguk" i.e it is full of random symbols eg. @$*"&).
So would anyone know how I could fix this, or is it unfixable?
Cheers.

Have you both got different operating systems?

Like he has 98 and you have XP?

Because that sounds like the reason, when he saves the notpad he needs to save it as a "rich text format" Then when he sends it to you it should work.
