Balls. My cats is sitting at the gate now, peering throught the gaps and waiting for my Mum to come home - but what the cat doesn't know is that my Mum is coming home late, which makes the cat look very silly indeed! It's just routine and good hearing.
My dogs know that me putting my shoes on means that there's a slight chance that they may be going walkies. So whenever I put my shoes on they go mad.
My cat knows to sit by me during dinner as I sometimes 'drop' food.

By tomorrow morn there will be 100+ cats circulating around your property with tails erect waiting to pounce and scratch your eyes out. Don't underestimate the power of the feline.
