Sure... cos originality is the catchword of most game these days huh? ;)

If you do storyboards, plot outline, character bios, say what type of engine you need, game specs and so on, then they might listen if it's delivered in a neat and eyecatching way"
Thats not enough though huh... you've got to provide level design, character design, etc...
Game companies seperate engine design from games design, which from a pen and paper point of view would need to be very detailed and incorporate a lot of niggling details...
Very few non-puzzel games can be fully fleshed out by a team of pros in a month... let alone one rainy day...
Such is life.
Try targeting innovative companies (i.e. not EA) and put a bit more effort into presentation to enhance your chances of success!
So games companies have to reject everything.
Send in ideas, story boards, etc, and you might get yourself a job if they're hiring, but I doubt they'd just take your idea and pay you for it!
If you do storyboards, plot outline, character bios, say what type of engine you need, game specs and so on, then they might listen if it's delivered in a neat and eyecatching way, but I suspect they want you to do half the coding too.
P.S. I wont suue you!
At the end, won't make much of a difference.
