Tonight I've knocked off my first version of my résumé, e-mailed a potential employer to check who to address my first covering letter to and had a sandwich.
Tomorrow I go to town, where I can (hopefully) get the passport photos and photocopy my passport (bleargh) for my application and go to HSBC to ask about opening an account in C$ for when I'm there.
And if I have to wait around for a bus, maybe look for a pub with a pool table to kill some time. Though the only pub I used to know that had one has since turned into a table-dancing place. I can't play pool with footprints on the cloth :^)
Then when I get home, providing someone answered my other e-mail, I'll make my first job application.
And now that I've told people about it I'm less likely to think screw it and stay in bed.
what sort of job have you applied for and where exactly are you headed in canada?

I'm not sure.
I feel like it's always only positive within the boundaries of that overall feeling.
Right now I struggle to think of anything that's felt.. really important to me.
But maybe it works a little like the way you can't 'remember' how pain feels - you can't recall how that broken leg really felt.
But I'm pretty sure I wasn't all that upbeat writing this, however it came across. It's just when I think about things too much that I need to let stuff out.
My mate's Canadian and I'm visiting Canada in a few months.
Just as long as you pop on here still.
