Everton made an audacious bid today to sign Robbie Savage from Birmingham but ofcourse the midlands number 1 team (sounds good huh Foreman :p) rejected the bid saying it would be bad move for both Birmingham City and for Robbie.

All this after Moyes said he wouldnt table a bid too... maybe he chanced his arm thinking Birmingham couldnt refuse his offer... well Mr Moyes Birmingham are not short of a few quid you know :)

Everto have little substance in midfield, and thats were it counts, Dunn was a great signing and savage is very solid and a good ball winner, i would not be suprised at all if birmingham finish above everton

You say that as tho he wouldnt have offered anything to Everton...

I personally think Birmingham will finish above Everton this season... had Robbie wanted to sign for Everton (which he didnt) then yes we would have missed him, thats because he has been nothing short of fantastic in the 1 and a quarter years weve had him.

Jeffer's is a poor player. I know he often came on as sub but he hardly ever scored, that may be because he is always getting sent off tho. He need to sort out his temper, then he may help everton do better than last year.

Jeffers has gone to Everton, pfft.

I wouldn't of cared if Robbie Savage moved to Everton but Birmingham would have missed him if he had gone.

And ofcourse im defending him, he plays for Birmingham :)

Well your defending him, but the forum topic name is 'He Can't Play For Toffee', so thats like having a go at him, so you have contradicted (sp) yourself.

Are you on something?

Firstly he scores about as much as any other midfielder or at the very least as much as Vierra or Keane scores, he was voted Birminghams best player last year (rightfully so too) and im sure if Dublin nutted you or if that ref smashed you in the mouth you wouldnt think 'oh that wasnt so bad really'

He runs his socks off all over the park and is a vital part of our team, if you dont like him then fine, im sure he wont lose any sleep over that and neither will i for that matter.
