Right, i have a cd full of jpeg pictures from my holiday and wanted to transfer them to video, so they can be watched by family etc. Now my dvd is capable of playing Jpeg Cd's but my releatives dvd players arent, and some don't have them. So i tried to put the Cd into my DVD player and record it onto a tape, but it comes out in black and white and seems to "pulse" at the edges, making it largely unviewable. I was just wondering what the problem is and if there is any way to get it to work. Currently my DVD is connected to my TV which is connected to my video recorder, but obviously this setup does not work. I have tried using various Tv's and recorders, scart leads and those other leads but still am unable to get it to work. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Get an MP3 CD player that plays VCDs, or even better, JPGs. Simple.

Of course, it's not too likely you'll get one just to show some people some photos, but it's an option...

Ulead DVD picture show 2, is an excellent programme for creating VCD's or SVCD's or for the more upper class( Moi) DVD'S of all your photos.

I went to america, took loadsa pictures then put them onto DVD using this programme and then when you put it into your DVD player it just loads like a DVD, but with all of your pictures and you can even add music to it as well.

Disable macrovision (assuming the DVD player allows that) then you can tape from DVDs.
