Thank goodness. He'll just end up with some other overly powerful position though.

I want him to apologise to Dr Kelly's family and the entire nation for being a weaselly little larvae that used to write porn for Forum magazine in the 1970s and helped convince the government that we were justified in going to war.
And before any forgets, this enquiry will achieve nothing.

The Hutton enquiry is investigating how Dr Kelly's name became public and the issue surrounding it.
In case anyone has forgotten, there were calls for a Judicial Enquiry into the reasons for going to war and Blair refused to allow it.
All of a sudden Dr Kelly dies and "Oh we must have an enquiry", and it's being used to distract you from the simple and pertinent case:
We were told WOMD existed, Bush told the US that WOMD existed and they were a threat, a very real and serious danger to our country.
No evidence offered except plagarised 12yr old thesis ripped from the internet, radium bought from Niger (roundly proved to be false), satellite photographs of "sites" that have subsequently revealed nothing ("Well we didnt notice them moving all the WOMD")
We have most of the "playing card villains" in custody and STILL no WOMD produced as evidence.
Do not for one single second think The Hutton Enquiry will explain anything, and we're being lead away from the fact that the reasons offered were lies and have no facts or evidence to support them, months after the invasion.
I spit on Campbell & Blair for refusing to allow a judicial enquiry into the reasons for war.
This will all be forgotten in a few months and meanwhile a holy war is brewing that will last forever and kill many many more people than non-existent WOMD.
I want Blair to blow his brains out on live television screaming "I'm sorry for lying and refusing to allow an enquiry" as his body slumps to the floor and the families of dead British soldiers run in and kick the still twitching corpse.
I am goddamn furious.
Campbell shouldn't resign, he should personally apologise to the families of dead servicemen and Dr Kelly's family and each and every person that marched in protest of this illegal, immoral and unjustified war.
And yet again Goatboy is literally shaking with anger, praying for death from above.

The only, ONLY thing I can find it in myself to admire Blair for is that he is the only person at the Hutton enquiry willing to take responsibility for anything. Admittedly he's probably only doing so cos the enquiry is, as you say, a sop. But it's a step further than anybody else thus far has gone.
