hey everyone!!! Im here to complain(yet again) about the playstation2! since endless fights between me and my brother on how pc games are way better than console games and how 'deus ex' could kick metal gear solid's a**e six ways from sunday, we have decided to swap. so i have started play 'meta gear' and yes, i was right! i have just completed the torcher bit and now i can't move my thumbs without crying in pain and i have dark-purple lines all over my hands!!! and for what??!!! to save a big mouth tom-boy who is uglier than mel-c!!!!!!!!!

Let me get this straight: You're disenfranchised with MGS because of the Torture Scene? That game practically reinvented the way action games look and function on consoles, and you're ticked off because it's not the same as Atari?
The only thing, IMO, that MGS failed on was not allowing for an internet connection. I'd love to play CTF with Solid Snake or Revolver Ocelot. Maybe they should add that feature in MGS2: SOL. Hell, I'd buy the PS2 for that.

hang on!! I'm not saying consoles are a waste of time. Yes i do prefer the pc games mostly, but there are some games on the consoles that just can't be beaten!! Some of my best times were spent on the game gear and master system, and the atari was probably the only quality time me and my dad spent together!!(sad ay!!).

Go away. Metal Gear Solid shouldn't be able to take on PC games. Consoles don't have the power to compete there for crying out loud. Let me guess: You're one of these people who plays Tribes and has a custom script installed to keep you from having to EVER do anything that requires multiple taps of a key? Know what then? Don't play consoles. In fact, stay away from them entirely. And don't whine about them either. They're not your cup of tea, so be it.

A button bashing game. You can do running, swimming, hurdles, long jump etc.

1) I believe you mean torture. Not some sort of light emitting device.
2) That part of the game isn`t exactly hard. Its like a couple of sprints on Track and Field.
