This is a fantastic book. Jack Kerouac is writing about his past experiences (as he usually does in his books), and this one is about when he travelled most of North America and spent the time hitchhiking and being with his mates. Its like his first time out on his own and its a really good read, couldnt put it down at all. But I mainly like it cos I have a fascination with America and I like the book cos it mentions the place I like. Please dont judge me. :-)

Read it a while ago. Thought it was pretty good, but not the modern masterpiece it's held up to be.
